We had such a wonderful weekend! It was busy, but it was nice and the weather was beautiful! Friday night I stayed up making an outfit for Kaidi. I didn't measure her or anything (big mistake) and made her a little a-line top with some capri pants. I actually did pretty decent not to have a pattern or any skill whatsoever with sewing. BUT i didn't take in to consideration the room for her diaper! The pants fit beautifully except there wasn't enough room in the back so they wouldn't stay up. It was fun to practice and actually make something for her! I took a picture of it on her, but when I uploaded it and turned the picture, it somehow messed the image up permenantly so it's good for nothing! We had 2 birthday parties Saturday. One was at 11 in Enterprise at the Fun Factory. We have never been there before and they had a small playground area for Kaidi's age. She enjoyed playing in that area. She also became obsessed with a Bear Character that they had that walked around the factory. She would get so excited when she saw it and would go running to it waving and wanting to get a hold of it. She was a little hesitant to begin with, but she soon warmed up to him and then we couldn't get her away!! After the party, we left and went to Mellow Mushroom and shared a yummy Pepperoni Pie! Kaidi is definitely our child because she loves pizza just like we do! We left there and had just enough time to get to town for the next party! We did run by the house for me to change in to something cooler. I was burning up and knew that this party was gonna be outside so I was sure to put on a light dress! They had a train at this party and it was the first thing Kaidi did when we got there. She and Gregg ended up riding it twice while we there. We were at the party for about an hour and a half and then headed home to relax a little bit. Kaidi laid down for about an hour or so after the party and then when she woke up, we went outside and stayed for a few hours. We walked across the street and she played with Banks and he rode her around on his little Power Wheels Truck. It was cute to see the two of them riding it together. We came inside around 6:45 and then started on supper. We fried fish and french fries and I made some cornbread and corn on the cob to go with it and it was actually a pretty good meal! We ended up sleeping through church Sunday morning so we pretty much lazed around the house all morning Sunday. We grilled hamburgers for lunch (seems to be a trend lately). That afternoon, after Kaidi woke up from her nap, She and I went swimming. The water in the pool was a little on the chilly side, but she enjoyed sitting on the top step splashing away! We probably stayed in the pool about an hour and then came home. It was a nice little getaway. I thought real hard about driving down to the beach just me and Kaidi and enjoy the afternoon.. Maybe one day soon! I was really just too tired from Saturday to really go anywhere! This morning, I had my blood glucose test and doctor's appointment. I will now start going every 2 weeks! That means I am getting closer and closer!! :) Everything looked great and Asher has been moving ALL day today! Tonight I had class, but apparently my art teacher is in to Dancing with the Stars so she let us out an hour and a half early! :) I definitely will not be complaining!! :) I got home a little before 7 and Gregg, his Granny and Kaidi had just finished eating supper. I sat down and ate a few tacos and then Gregg had to get started on his truck. He had to replace a coil in it and do some other mechanical work to it. Tomorrow night I will have class and look forward to only a few more weeks of classes! This math class is kicking my tail! Because it is a mini-term class, it is very fast paced and we cover a chapter on one night and test on it either the next night or the next week! It's a lot to remember!!
I did take a few pictures over the weekend, but none of them are really worth posting! Guess I wasn't in a photographing mood! Hope you all have a great week!
