I cannot tell you how much I have enjoyed the past two nights with Kaidi. She has been so pleasant and fun! Tuesday night, Gregg went and finished up a rocking horse he was doing for someone andI sat Kaidi in my lap and painted her little finger nails. I was surprised at how still she sat while I did it. After they dried, we went and sat in her room and played for a little then she was ready to eat so I fed her some vegetable soup and gave her a bath in the kitchen sink. Here are a few pictures from Tuesday night:
Wednesday night was another fantastic night! We loaded up some fire wood and took it down the road to split it and when we got back Kaidi stood at the back doors and tried to play peek-a-boo with Maggie who would not play it back!! LOL Kaidi would run from window to window hoping Maggie would follow, but Lazy Maggie just laid there! When Gregg got done unloading the wood, he started us a fire and we tried to get Kaidi to point out her eyes, nose, mouth and ears.. she gets a little distracted through the video and points to the fire and sticks her hand out and says "hot". We had dinner and after dinner we lounged around and Kaidi come out of her room with her vacuum just cleaning away. I got a video of it too. I got really tickled because she even bent down to reach underneath the chair with the vacuum! Here's the pics and videos (couldn't get the videos to upload so i will try again later):
We are heading to my brothers house Friday when Gregg gets out of work and I am so ready to go see them! It's been about 6-7 weeks since we saw them last! Gregg and Adam are planning on playing a game of golf Saturday and I think the girls are gonna either hang around or go shopping or something! We will find something to do! Saturday night we are going to a Huntsville Havoc (Hockey) game. I am really excited about this. I can remember seeing some kids playing hockey once in the Memphis Mall while I was with my youth group on a mission trip, but never been to a real game!! I hope our weekend DRAGS by so we can enjoy every minute and make some sweet memories! Hope everyone has a great weekend!
