Kaidi is a Wonderful Baby!

I cannot say this enough! My child is WONDERFUL! She has been such a pleasant little stinker the last few days and I love her so much. Wednesday and Thursday I could not have asked for a better baby. She is doing well at her swimming lessons, still crying, but she has floated a few seconds on her own now so that is exciting! Wednesday and Thursday when I got down to drop her off at S&E's she started crying when I handed her to S. After a minute or so, I took her back and she just laid her head on my shoulder and clung to me. It made my heart feel so good. She did that again yesterday morning. Made me wanna just stay with her or bring her with me. This morning I was able to bring her to work with me for a little over an hour until Gregg was able to do a webinar at work and come get her from me. She was perfect. Stayed on the floor the entire time playing pat-a-cake and cooing and shaking her toys. This is a pic of her from this morning at work.
Gregg came and picked her up around 11:15 and took her home and when I talked to him a little bit ago he said she was being a perfect little angel! I am so thankful for him and the way he doesn't mind taking care of his children right by himself!
The past two nights Kaidi has slept all through the night which has been WONDERFUL! She slept 11 hours Wednesday night and then 10 hours last night. I had to wake her up yesterday morning so I guess she could have slept even longer! The secret: we laid her down in her bed and left the room. She cried for about 2 minutes and then was asleep!! No bottle to go to bed! I was so shocked! Glad because I didn't like putting her to bed with a bottle, especially now that she has a tooth! I just love her so much and look forward to spending the weekend at home with her.
Last night, Gregg and I went out to dinner for our anniversary. We had a yummy meal of crab legs and shrimp. We made such a mess with the crab legs and Gregg ended up helping me because I was soooo slow in getting the meat out of the legs! We enjoyed the time together. Tomorrow night we have Gregg's 10 year reunion. I am looking forward to catching up with some of his old classmates. I am also looking forward to a weekend at home with my baby girl and my husband! Have a great weekend everyone!
