Going to the Mountains

Miss Kaidi is 3 weeks old today! Wow, has time flown! She is still such a good baby. She sleeps a lot but, there is a period, usually between 1 and 3 that she stays up and is so sweet and alert. This period of time came 12 hours off track last night :( I finally got her in the bassinet at 2 only to get up again at 3 to feed her and I was thinking, she should be good until 7 and then at 5:45 she was up again. Hungry little thing! :) She did manage to sleep until 8:30 after that. I just love her so much. Her temperament is so mild and sometimes it's as if she truly knows how special she is, and can just give the sweetest looks through those grayish blue eyes! I have all her stuff and my stuff packed up and ready for the mountains. I cannot wait! I have to get to packing Gregg's today. I also need to work on a list of "things to do" while we are there. I am so looking forward to the Biltmore. I know I have probably mentioned that in EVERY single post that I have talked about the mountains, but it is something that I have always wanted to go and see. I have to order the tickets online today. Still haven't decided what day I want to go there. I am hoping for snow while we are there, it's probably pretty likely. I don't know how much, but I think it is in the forecast for Saturday! :) I hope that you and your families have a very merry CHRISTmas! I will post when we get back! :)

Oh you are going to LOVE the Biltmore. I absolutely am in AWE of it. Especially around Christmas I hear it is gorgeous with all the decor and tons of trees. Please post pictures!! I plan to go there sometime at Christmas.

Merry Christmas. The home looks great. :) Hope you can take pics on the Biltmore Estate. Wonder if they allow that? That is still on my "bucket list" to things to do. :)

Just thought I'd share that blog with you. Look how they add Sage (gone home to heaven) to their photo. So cute and thoughtful.
