STAY AWAY SICKNESS!

I have found through this pregnancy that MANY things annoy me. I would not say that I am hormonal at all, I would say that people are just idiots! :) I know, prolly a lil too harsh, but the truth hurts. I just do not understand some people. Why get out when you are sick, why take your kids out when they are sick, why run a fever and go out and expose america to your germs instead of keeping yourself in your house and bleaching the place down to prevent further contamination to your household. It just "urks" me beyond anything. Here I am, 35 weeks pregnant, doing all I can to stay healthy through this horrible season of flu and all other infections and contagious illnesses that I am very likely to get because my immune system is WIDE OPEN for this crap because I am pregnant and I am limited to certain medications and you have idiots who bring themselves or their children out around the public with all their "cooties" It just drives me crazy. I am going to be SO TICKED OFF with the "public" if I get sick because of their selfishness. I wouldn't call it stupidness, pure SELFISHNESS! Keep yourself, your kids, your dog, your husband, whoever it is that is sick INSIDE until they show NO signs of this illness anymore! PLEASE, for the sake of all the HEALTHY people out there trying to stay healthy. GOSH!

I agree 100%! I read a blog today where the mom said her kid (not a teenager either) was home sick with strep throat, but they were going to go out shopping! Too sick for school. Too sick to go shopping. Praying you stay healthy.

Oh my, you are so right! My son came home from school today and said that a friend of his has the flu but his parents say he has to go to school anyways! Ugh! So not right! My daughter just had the flu and I kept her home for over a week! I agree with you 100%! I hope you stay well!

while I agree with you that people shouldnt send their kids to school, daycare, church etc when they are obviously sick, sometimes as an adult I HAVE to force myself to go to the store, or to go to work (in the past) when I should've been home. When you don't have anyone to help you, desperate times call for desperate measures. I hope you don't catch any virus though and stay healthy!

I have been pregnant 6 times...I know how those hormones can make one a bit, shall we say, 'grumpy'? or maybe 'testy' is a better choice of words :)
But, yes, you are right of course!

I feel the same way and I am 35 weeks pregnant too. I cannot completely stop getting out of my house but I do limit myself to necessary trips only. I wish I could trust others to stay home or keep their kids home when they obviously are sick. Hope we both can make it a few more weeks without catching something.

I seen a picture of a sign on a car seat - it said "PLEASE DON'T TOUCH MY BABY". At first I thought that was a little rude, but then realized that if I had a baby in this era of sickness, I would DEFINATELY put one of those signs on the car seat!
