Looking for a New Ride and Starting on our House.

So Gregg and I have been vehicle shopping for the past couple of weeks. We sold my car the Saturday before the kids passed away and then we sold Gregg's truck last Monday. So, we have been without a vehicle of our own and have been borrowing a ride from family members. I test drove a Jeep Commander home Tuesday night and really liked it, but we are unsure if it is in the price range we are looking for. I did not realize how stressful car shopping could be. We are back in forth on a minivan or an suv (with a third row seat). We have been looking hard and don't want to get in to a big rush and make a poor decision so we are checking out everything first.
We sat down and signed the contract to start on our house yesterday! :) It's exciting and very scary! We hope to be in it by the end of January or early February. We have so much to do to get ready for this. We need to go through everything in our house now and decide what stays and what goes. We are gonna wait until we get the house built before we get Kaidi's furniture because we have no where to put it in our house now. She will just stay in the room with us in a bassinet that my wonderful friend is letting us use. (Thanks TC) I really need to get to work on making some room for Kaidi's stuff. My friends are throwing me a baby shower on Nov. 1 and I need space to put all the gifts we receive. I am real excited about this shower. I ate supper with Kelly and Ashton last night and they gave me some beautiful outfits, bibs, and burp cloths for Kaidi. (LOL did i do the comma right? hehe) I really have some wonderful friends. Ashton came back to my house when we finished eating because Ronnie was there with Gregg and we loaded up in the single cab Ford. All 4 of us!! It was NOT too comfortable and really reminded me of high school days when we would go mud riding and all pile up in a truck together. Can you imagine 2 grown men and 2 pregnant women crammed in the cab of Ford heading through some rough terraces and trees.. lol.. it's a wonder we didn't have a baby last night! We went and got the deer cam off the hunting land. I was very uncomfortable last night. Kaidi kicks like a mule now. I don't remember having kicks this painful when i was pregnant with Brayden and Kenadi. I guess because they probably didn't have too much stretching room like she does. She is so active at night. Sleeps all day, kicks and rolls all night. I do hope that changes once she gets here. I cannot believe how soon that will be. 7 weeks and 4 days from today. WOW! We better get to moving! Got to get ready for this bundle of Joy! :)
Hope you all have a wonderful long weekend! We are heading up to North Alabama to visit my brother and his family. I am excited about it. Gregg and Adam have an 8:15 tee time and Heather and I are going to the Huntsville Kids Market that just happens to be this weekend! :) Maybe I will find come good buys for Kaidi!

I live in North AL. I'm very familiar with the Kids Market you mentioned. I'm tempted to come looking for you tomorrow so I can give you a hug in person. Guess that would make me a bit of a stalker, huh? So, I've decided against it. I've followed your blog since our pastor mentioned your family from the pulpit and requested prayer on your behalf. I go Whitesburg Baptist Church in Huntsville. I just want you to know that I think of you often. I'm praying for you tonight! Love, Jennifer

I've followed your blog since I saw it on Kelly's Korner. I think I left a comment a while back but I can't remember. I just want you to know that I think about you and Gregg VERY often (several times a day) and pray for you like we knew each other. I can't imagine what you are going thru but bless you for being so open on here. I definitely hug my kids a lot tighter and don't get frustrated as easily as I used to :). I appreciate them in a totally different way now. We will pray for you daily (several time a day!). Can't wait to see pics of your new little girl when she arrives.

I have been checking in on you since Cindy at Joels Journey asked us to pray for your family. Your family is precious. I am sorry for your loss and I rejoice with you as you prepare for another sweet blessing.

Your twins are beautiful and their eyes sparkle! You must be so thankful for the time you DID have with them, although short. I am praying for you :)
