I won't flood her inbox, but I'll say here that I'm praying for her.
I would just like to encourage you when you're able to talk with your mom, allow one another to pour out your feelings about this situation and make sure you encourage her and assure her that you don't hold all of this against her...share all of your feelings and allow her to share hers. It will help tremendously. I know I've never dealt with a situation like yours at all, but I've dealt with death (3 friends in college, my father when I was 16) and I've realized that if we don't share our feelings these walls get built up between us and those that we care about...and I don't want that to happen to you and your mom. Thank you so much for pouring yourself into each of your posts and for sharing the good times and the sad. I love how candid you are and appreciate you sharing so much.
I ll send her an email
Meredith,I wanted to let you know that you have all been in my thoughts and prayers since the day of the accident when my niece, (Donna) Gina's friend, called to tell me because she knew I knew Gregg's aunt Gina and would want to know.I know there is nothing anyone can say that will help but I just wanted to tell you my family was thinking of and praying for your family. We lost my oldest granddaughter when she was 5 and her school bus ran over her, so we know some of what you and your family are going through and if you ever need to talk to someone feel free to contact me. I know sometimes it is hard to let your pain out because you don't want to add to the pain of your loved ones. I also wanted to say thank you because I think your story may have helped save my 2 year old granddaughters life. She managed to sneak out of the house and because of your story my daughter immediately ran to the pool and found her standing beside the pool. I've never met you but you have definitely touched my life and my heart. I think you are an amazing person!
I remember a post you wrote a few weeks ago titled "Playground". I wanted to share this blog with you. http://themcclenahans.blogspot.com/Y'all are in my prayers.
