Baby Ethan

I just got a call from Gregg. A guy that he use to work with when he worked at Wachovia called him this morning and told Gregg about his son, Ethan. Ethan was born last Thursday and has had some problems with his lungs. He is in the NICU at Children's Hospital in Birmingham and has been diagnosed with Persistent Pulmonary Hypertension of the Newborn (PPHN). He is on a ventilator. This couple, Kerry and Bonnie, need all the prayers they can get right now. Prayers for Ethan, their 3 year old daughter, Helen, who doesn't understand and for themselves to continue to rely on God for the strength they need. I know the battle it is to feel like you have no control and the comfort God can give you when you call out and ask Him to help. I pray that they find comfort in knowing that God is in control. Please join me in praying for this family.

I have been praying for them! Ethan is almost exactly in the same shape our daughter was when she was born. Everything they describe is to a TEE what we went through. Our daughter is now 8 months old today and perfect and healthy. I'm praying the same for them.
I'm also praying for you daily - I can't imagine your grief but I pray for God's comfort on you.
