Toddler Beds

So I all of a sudden decided that I wanted to break B&K's cribs into toddler beds, so after about 20 mins of taking them apart and getting the mattress back in we had our first night of fun!! It took about 2 hours, but we finally got them to sleep.. we ended up having to just close the door.. when we went in there, Brayden was asleep by the door with his hand under the door.. we picked him up and put him in his bed and when I went in there the next morning, he was back at the door. Day 2 went about the same. Kenadi will go right to sleep, but Brayden has to fight it. I put Barney on and turned their light off and they sat on their beanbags and watched while I took my daily walk (8:30 at night) When I came back in, they were still there on their bean bags watching Barney so I told them to lay down and Kenadi went right on to sleep and Brayden ended up by the door again, but this morning when I went in there he was still in his bed so that was definately an improvement!! Night 3- We put them to bed and I think we each went and got on to them and told them to get back to bed maybe twice each. Well I just went and checked on them, and they are both in their own beds so it wasn't that bad afterall!! :) I was a lil apprehensive about this new stage in life, but they surprised me! Thankfully it is going well so far!! I may have a new post next week with no hair and begging for someone to come put their cribs back together!! :)

Oh Meredith I have not gotten that brave yet. I like the fact that Aiden is trapped and is in bed til I get him out. I'm afraid he would not sleep if I did his bed into a toddler bed.
