Remembering Our Wedding

July 15, 2006

OK! So Gregg proposed to me on September 25, 2005 in Lagoonisi, Greece! It was so beautiful! So when we got back to America, I started thinking of what kind of wedding I wanted! I always wanted either a Christmas wedding or an outdoor wedding! So i thought about December of 2006 but that was just too far away!! So we set the date for October 14, 2006. It was gonna be an outdoor wedding out by an old barn and we were gonna have it real country! Well, my mom and Dad got a divorce in May of 2006 and I was having a lot of problems with that and i was tired of the planning process and I was just ready to get married! So we moved the date up to July 15. Yeah that was only 2 months away! We had it out at one of my dear friends parents house. They have a lot of land, and there is a beautiful spot with pecan trees on it so we had it there.. It was very very simple. I had the bridesmaid dresses made by the lady whose house we got married at, Terri Hudgens. My bridesmaids were Angel Mock(Gregg's lil sister) Gina Edwards (Gregg's aunt) Amanda Hudgens (friend) and my sister Hannah was the Matron of Honor. They wore yellow tea length dresses and i made each one of their bouqets myself! The groomsmen wore khaki shorts and yellow button up shirts with flip-flops.. i told you it was simple!! The groomsmen were Jeremy Mack (my brother-in-law) Scott Edwards (Gregg's uncle) Anthony Brown (friend) and his best man was his step-dad Keith Burleson. The flower girls were Ashton Mack (my neice) and Hope Ramer (Gregg's lil cousin) and the ring bearer was Grayson Mack (my nephew). It was a beautiful wedding.. the weather was perfect.. it didn't last but about 15 minutes, and there was delicious food after it. Gregg and I left for Destin that night and enjoyed the rest of the weekend there. We came back a little early on Monday so we could take care of getting our marriage license and chaning my driver's license and social security card and all that married stuff!! We had already taken off an entire week in October (when we originally planned to get married) so we were gonna have more of a vacation then.. little did we know that that week would consist of our first ultrasound and finding out it was twins and all the other exciting stuff!! We did have a good week off though.. we went to the Montgomery Zoo and to an Auburn Football game.. so that was fun.. anway...

Here are a few pics from the wedding! My Beautiful cake that Mrs. Vickie Foley and my mama madeThis is my family! My parents, siblings (and their spouses and children) and grandparents!
